CLIENT SUCCESS STORY

100% viscose. Digitally printed. Washed at 40°C. Shrank 7–8 cm.

That was the first sample. Customer was in Florida. They wanted a high-end dress. First order: 100 pieces per style.

Now they order 8,000 pieces a month. Six years. Three factory visits.

This is how it happened.

The client during one of three visits to Mengruolan Garment Factory.

1.Project Start

2020. Customer from Florida found us on the website. Wanted a 100% viscose digitally printed dress. 100 pieces per style to start. Luna on our sales team took it.

Before buying bulk fabric, we made a sample first. Sent sample fabric to the washing factory. General washing and shaping. Back to our factory. High-temperature pre-shrinking.

2. The Problem

Sample fabric went to the digital printing factory. Double-sided sizing. High-temperature drying. Digital direct printing. Back to us. We made the sample. Sent to Florida.

Customer washed it at 40°C. Dress shrank 7–8 cm. Uneven shrinkage too.

Customer asked: Will bulk production do the same?

That question stopped everything.

3. Finding the Cause

Luna did not just say "we will remake." She stayed on the phone. Recorded every test result. Told the customer what we found and what we would try next.

Our technical team re-tested the whole sampling process. Many comparisons. The problem was not the pattern size. It was the pre-printing treatment.

Double-sided sizing before printing: not enough. Drying temperature: too low. Drying time: too short. Fabric was not stable. So when the customer washed it at 40°C, it shrank hard.

4.The Fix

We told the customer the test results and the adjustment plan. Then we changed it.

More sizing on both sides. Higher drying temperature. Longer drying time.

After digital direct printing, printed fabric came back for high-temperature shrinking and shaping. The pattern maker adjusted the pattern based on actual shrinkage. Remade the sample.

Customer did another wash test. Satisfied with the adjusted size and design. They liked it. After confirmation, we bought bulk fabric. Started the first 100-piece batch.

5. Six Years Later

Customer saw how we handle problems. We find the cause. We keep talking. We fix risks before bulk starts.

2020 to now. Nearly six years. Customer visited Meng Ruolan factory three times. Order quantity went from 100 pieces per style to about 8,000 pieces a month.
