About This Style
Front is ruched into a gathered bodice with a halter tie that loops through the neckline and knots at the back of the neck. Off-shoulder cut means the sleeve heads sit below the shoulder line. Getting that balance right — enough tension to hold the bodice up without pulling the shoulders down — that is the fit issue we solve at pattern stage.
Sleeves are nylon mesh, long length, finished with a flare cuff at the wrist. Sheer mesh means seam finishing has to be clean inside and out. We use flatlock stitching to keep the join flat and stop the mesh from curling. Cuffs are cut on the bias so the flare hangs properly.
Skirt is bodycon through the hip and thigh, then flares into a mermaid hem below the knee. Hem is narrow, double-needle stitched. We cut the skirt panels with the flare built into the pattern, not gathered at the seam. Cleaner line.
Bodice and skirt are 100% polyester. Sleeves are nylon mesh. Two different materials, two shrinkage rates. We pre-wash both before cutting so the dress does not twist after the first wash.

How We Make It
Before cutting, we lay out the pattern and check grain on both the polyester and the mesh. Two fabrics with different stretch means the operator has to pay attention to which way the grain runs. On a bodycon fit, one piece off-grain throws the silhouette.
Operators sew one trial unit first. We inspect bodice ruching symmetry, halter tie length, off-shoulder sit, and mesh sleeve hang. We photo the approved trial and post it by the sewing line. Every operator sees exactly what finished should look like.
Post-sewing, the dress is steam-pressed to set the shape. Bust, waist, hip, hem — checked against your tolerances. Anything outside spec gets pulled and remade. Final wash test checks bleeding and shrinkage.
This is a nylon mesh long sleeve dress with an open back. Strap and sleeve consistency matters. Small detail, big difference in fit.
