For this frayed hem A-line jean skirt, send a wash swatch, Pantone reference or target image. We prepare a wash trial so you can approve the grey shade, fading level, seam contrast and hem effect before bulk production.
The frayed edge is checked after washing because washing can change its depth and appearance.
PLEATS, WAIST & POCKETS
This high waist pleated denim skirt lets you tweak pleat depth, waistband height, how tight the back elastic sits, pocket opening shape, and how much the skirt flares out. We put all of that on the first sample so you see it together.

CUSTOM ORDER SERVICE
MRL Apparel develops the pattern, sources denim, arranges wash trials, makes revisions and produces the bulk order. As a denim mini skirt manufacturer, we also prepare labels, hangtags, polybags and carton marks.
One merchandiser follows wash approval, sample comments, production, inspection and shipment.
PRODUCTION PROCESS
1. Denim and Wash Reference
Confirm the denim, base color, wash shade and required fraying.
2. Pattern and Sample Sewing
Develop the waist, pleats, pockets, flare and finished length.
3. Sample Wash Approval
Wash the completed sample and confirm its final shade, measurements and hem.
4. Bulk Sewing and Garment Wash
Cut and sew the approved pattern, then wash the garments by controlled production lots.
5. Final Check and Packing
Check shade consistency, waist, pleats, zipper, pockets, frayed edge, labels and packing.
Frequently Asked Questions
A: Sure. You may provide us with certain design sketches or reference images and we will prepare a prototype according to your wishes. After you approve the sample, we will continue with production.
A: The design and communication process followed by pre-production sample approval takes 1-2 weeks. Once the pre-production sample is approved, the mass production takes about 15-25 days. We are able to provide expedited services to the customers who are in urgent need of the products.
A: Sample expenses will be refunded when the order quantity is up to 100pcs per style.
